This comprehensive tour includes all the features of our Deluxe City Tour with an exciting cruise through the San Francisco Bay. Sail under both the famous Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge and cruise past Alcatraz, Angel and Treasure Islands.

Your tour of this magnificent city begins at Fisherman's Wharf, home to some of the best seafood restaurants in the world. From the Wharf, travel past Hyde Street Pier and National Maritime Museum, Ghirardelli Square & Lombard Street.
Watch the Golden Gate Bridge as it comes into view. This is the first photostop of our tour. Then, we’ll follow the rugged coastline west of the bridge past the famous Cliff House and Ocean Beach before entering Golden Gate Park.
Spot the red Sutro Tower and climb to one of the highest points in the city, Twin Peaks. From this vantage point, you will have a 360° panoramic view of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay communities (weather permitting).
Descending Twin Peaks, journey back across the city, passing Victorian homes, the Civic Center (City Hall, Opera House, the Main Library and the Asian Art Museum), the Financial District, Chinatown (one of the largest Chinese communities outside of Asia) & North Beach.
Due to weather conditions and traffic congestion, your tour driver may reverse the above itinerary, traveling first to Twin Peaks then to Golden Gate Park and the Golden Gate Bridge. This tour includes 3 to 4 stops of 10-25 minutes each. Stops will be chosen at your driver's discretion, which ensures a more personalized, entertaining and thorough tour.
Please Note: After the tour, you have the option to stay and explore Fisherman's Wharf or ride back to your downtown or airport area hotel. Our one-hour Bay Cruise lets you feel the wind and salt spray and hear the foghorns. You'll cruise directly under the Golden Gate Bridge and around the infamous island of Alcatraz.
Cruising from Fisherman's Wharf, you'll sail past the 312-foot USS Pampanito, a World War II submarine that participated in many of the great battles in the Pacific. Tied up astern of the submarine is the SS Jeremiah O'Brien, a WWII Liberty Ship built across the Bay in Richmond.
As your vessel turns northward and heads toward the Golden Gate Bridge, you will see a diverse fleet of historic ships tied up at the Hyde Street Pier and the National Maritime Historic Park. Overlooking the Park is Ghirardelli Square, a retail shopping complex and former chocolate factory.
Cruise directly under the Golden Gate Bridge out into the Pacific Ocean and then back into the Bay. The orange-vermilion bridge - officially "International Orange" - is 1.7 miles long, and the main span is 4,200 feet long.
In the center of the Bay sits the infamous island of Alcatraz. This former federal penitentiary housed the most notorious criminals in American history. Robert "The Birdman" Stroud, Al "Scarface" Capone and "Machine Gun" Kelly all called Alcatraz home. The prison closed in 1963 and is now a national monument.
Before returning to Fisherman's Wharf, you'll cruise along the northern waterfront, where you'll enjoy views of Coit Tower and the cruise ship terminal at Pier 35. The barking noise you will hear at the end of the tour is from the PIER 39 sea lions. Arriving in the Bay after the 1989 earthquake, they took over K dock at Pier 39, a shopping and dining complex, and now call it home.
