Driver was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the City.

The drive through the park showed us very little. Lots of parked cars and traffic. I would have preferred seeing Nob Hill and other areas such as Twin Peaks.

We did not see all the sites promised on the listing, but that may have been due to inclement weather. We were picked up a half-hour late, and the tour was shorter than advertised by 1 hour. Half the tour group was German, so our tour guide spent half the time speaking German - great for them, but a bit of a distraction and less time to tell us more things. We had to stop at the office in the middle of the tour to pay, but I had prepaid so that was a total waste of time and seemed like an excuse to frequent the coffee shop next door. The driver was not shy about asking for a tip, which seemed tacky. We caught several factual errors in things the driver said; who knows how many other things were wrong that we did not know?
On the plus side, we got a quick overview of a lot of sites and went into areas larger buses could not.

Driver concentrated on showing us residential houses of the Victorian and Edwardian era which was not very interesting. However, we did drive by the Golden Gate Park and he pointed out the Presidio to us. We also drove over the Golden Gate Bridge and stopped at a view point.
We expected San Francisco to have many more places of interest.

Our driver was from Austria or Germany and he was very difficult to understand. Nice man, but would have enjoyed the tour more if we could understand him.

Unfortunately, the tour for us was a great disappointment. The weather was horrific, so it was virtually impossible to see anything. The driver tried hard to make light of the weather and basically give an audio tour of the city, he did his best! I'd love to do the tour on a bright sunny day or even a gray cloudy day to see what San Francisco is really all about.

Tour was ok. We were turned off right away by the driver who told us how he is not paid much for his job and would appreciate a tip after the tour, he was completely serious.
Tour was only 2 1/2 hours, not 3 1/2 hours as told. Saw a lot of San Francisco, but it could have been better. Driver did have a lot of knowledge about the city, which we appreciated.

It seemed like we could have had a more streamlined hotel pickup. We went past the same corner three times. Would have liked more city history.

Unfortunately our tour was geared for a large German group, therefore, we were not happy. I did not feel that our guide gave us an adequate tour in English nor was it historically interesting. I am a well-traveled woman and I know a good tour when I'm on one!!

The tour guide seemed to be reading the signs as we drove past things. He gave us "interesting" bits of information about random pieces of the city's history, but we basically just drove around the city. I don't think I would have called it a tour.
