Description
Let our friendly and knowledgeable driver-guide pick you up from your Downtown San Francisco or Fisherman's Wharf hotel for your all day tour of Yosemite National Park. Enjoy a relaxing drive aboard as you cruise through the San Joaquin Valley.
Stop for a quick break before heading through Gold Country and up into the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range to Yosemite National Park, where you'll get approximately 5 to 6 hours to explore!
Once in the valley, our guide will take you on a fully narrated tour and mini-hike with plenty of photostops around Yosemite Valley. During the lunch hour, choose one the following exciting activities: hike, bike, swim, shop & more.
Visit the gift shops, have a relaxing meal, or get food to go (meal not included). Walk to the middle of the valley, up to the river banks or get up close to the tallest waterfall in North America, Yosemite Falls.
Next, we'll take you to one of the Giant Sequoia (redwood) groves, considered some of the largest living things on the planet, towering over 300 feet with 40 feet in diameter tree trunks! Take a 2-mile roundtrip hike to the grove, or stay and relax under the pines. (The Giant Sequoias hike is dependent on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April.)
Leave Yosemite behind for a relaxing drive through the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. See the amazing nighttime sky of San Francisco before returning to your hotel.

Please Note: During the winter months, winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads, are recommended. We will always do what we can to make your trip enjoyable, but safety is "Job #1," so the route and itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours. The Giant Sequoias hike on the Yosemite Tour is dependent on snow levels and trail conditions from October to April.

the tour guide was great. I wish I had a longer time in the park.

A well worth while experience and one that wont be forgotten. It was a long day but the sights of Yosemite will never be forgotten.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable although struggled a bit with his get to know you routine on the way back due to hearing and language problems in the bus.
If I was to be picky - the only real downside was the pickup routine. from being picked up at the Hotel it took one and a half hours to actually pick up everyone and leave San Francisco. This due to sleep in of one party and having to double back - not the fault of the Tour Guide.

Shawn (not sure of spelling) was absolutely the best guide and driver. Very informative yet not overly chatty. He was very interesting and attentive to his responsibility such as making sure everyone got to the areas of interest and back without being intrusive. The trip is long but the views were worth it. So glad we took time out of the week vacation to do this.

Loved the tour! Only complaint was the late pick-up from our hotel in the morning. Supposed to be picked-up at 0620, bus did not show up until 0700. Called company twice to find out what was going on. They kept telling us he was on the way, would not help any further.

My wife and I had a great time. The guide gave a very interesting tour and we were never bored during the whole 15 hr experience. I would do it again, Yosemite was breath taking.

We had a great day and both thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Our guide, Dave, was excellent and very well informed about the area as a whole. His interesting commentary throughout ensured that the journey to and from Yosemite did not drag in the slighest, even though it was a 400-mile round trip. It was a long day but was totally worth it and we would recommend the tour to anyone.

Brian, our tour guide did a fantastic job. He had so much knowledge & was extremely willing to answer all our Qs. Cannot thank him enough for such a great job. The day was extremely long but his enthusiasm did not wain.
Found the van seats a little uncomfortable for such a long trip, but this didnt detract from a great day. Thank you, Jane.
