San Francisco Hop-on Hop-off Tour

3.5 stars 1,394 reviews

5.0 stars A really great way to see the city without fighting the traffic yourself. There were many spots to get on and off at, and the buses were running about every 15 minutes as advertised. Special cudos to our bus tour guide Charlie, who was very entertaining and knowledgeable and made the trip especially enjoyable! Reviewed by:Christine G.,

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing and learning about San Francisco through this tour. It was a great way to get around the city and see some of the places we have already heard and read about.

Guide was awesome, very friendly, well-informed and even though it was raining, we really enjoyed the tour. Stayed on the bus for the round trip.

Guide was equally informative & entertaining. Great way to get an overview of the city and help determine w_here to spend more time. Be sure to get on in time to go across the Golden Gate Bridge - its worth the wind!

The tour was excellent and we really loved Willy. He really enjoys his job which may the trip so much fun. We were on the bus with Mark, and although he is a nice guy, the accent made understanding him difficult. Only complaint is that the number of Red buses compared to the number of Blue buses is two to one, so you wait longer for the next blue bus.

My friend and I totally loved the bus tour. The bus driver was very nice. Only problem was the speaker was not loud enough. Great day on the bus.

What a great way to see the city and enjoy the stops at your own pace. The tour guides were all nice but by far the best was a gentleman named Alfonso (at least I think that was his name). He knew so much about the city, was very engaging. He even helped with the traffic congestion at the Golden Gate bridge! A great guy.

The 2 day deal is the way to go. We never visited San Francisco before and after 2 days we felt like old timers by using the hop on hop off buses. The many tours guides we had on the buses were very courteous and knowledgeable. We got to know many of the neighborhoods and got lots of pictures for great memories.
